Embedded network contract confirmation template: Solar for Apartments Program
As part of the registration process for the Solar for Apartment Program, owners corporations that hold an Electricity Embedded Network contract need to get confirmation from their electricity retailer that the existing contract won’t limit the benefits of the solar installation being shared with the residents of the apartment complex.
You can use the suggested email content to do this. Send this request to your Electricity Embedded Networks contract Account Manager. The contact details for your Account Manager should be listed on your electricity bill.

Dear <Insert Account Manager name>,
The owners corporation for Unit Plan <insert unit plan number>, would like to register for the ACT Government’s Solar for Apartments Program.
If eligible, the Program will fund a shared rooftop solar installation at <insert address>. One of the eligibility requirements set by the Program is that the proposed installation must be capable of equitably sharing the benefits of the installation among the residents of the apartment complex.
As the manager of the Embedded Network Contract can you please confirm:
- our existing Contract will not limit the ability for benefits of the shared rooftop installation to be shared equitably among the residents of our apartment complex.
- there will be no technical and/or metering limitations, tariff limitations or otherwise as a result of the existing Contract that will affect the benefits shared among the residents of the apartment complex.
