Online webinar

11 Nov 2026

Think you know your recycling? You might be surprised.

Join us this National Recycling Week for a fast-paced and interactive countdown of the 12 trickiest household items to dispose of in Canberra. From batteries, coffee cups and soft plastics to broken glass, takeaway containers and old electronics, we'll tackle the items that leave residents scratching their heads.

Along the way, we'll bust common waste and recycling myths, reveal the most common disposal mistakes, and share practical tips to help you recycle right and reduce contamination.

Test your knowledge, see how your answers compare with other participants, and find out whether your favourite "recycling hack" is fact or fiction.

Will your most confusing item make the countdown? Join us to find out.
