Thinking about switching to an electric vehicle?

Around one in three new vehicles sold in Canberra is now electric, as more Canberrans make the switch thanks to improved technology, expanding charging infrastructure, and a wider range of models to suit different budgets and lifestyles.

Free Electric Vehicle Education workshop

To support Canberrans in making informed decisions, Help Me Buy an EV has partnered with the ACT Government to deliver free Electric Vehicle Education workshops.

In these workshops, you will learn about:

  • Driving and owning an electric vehicle, including insurance and finance
  • Electric vehicle brands and models
  • Charging options and available infrastructure
  • Battery technology and real-world performance

You will gain practical insights and expert advice to help you feel confident about transitioning to electric transport.
