Climate Choices Schools Awards

About the Awards

Schools play an important role in teaching sustainability practices and concepts. The knowledge and skills that are developed in schools can be spread by students, teachers and staff throughout the broader community.

The Climate Choices Schools Awards is an annual event that recognises the people, projects and schools that champion climate action and sustainability in their school community.

The Awards celebrate excellence in sustainable management of resources across the Sustainable Schools Program focus areas of:

  • biodiversity
  • energy
  • waste
  • water
  • curriculum integration.

There are six award categories, with 11 awards to be won.
