Large-scale feed-in tariff payments and costs

Large-scale feed-in tariff payments and costs

The electricity distributor in the ACT (currently Evoenergy) must provide quarterly reports about large-scale feed-in tariff payment and network connection costs for renewable generators supported under the Electricity Feed-in (Large-scale Renewable Energy Generation) Act 2011.

These reports include:

  • the cost of connecting the generator to the ACT’s electricity distribution system, and maintaining it
  • the quantity of eligible electricity supplied by the generator to the interconnected national electricity system in a trading interval
  • the feed-in tariff support payment paid by the ACT electricity distributor to the generator during the quarter.

You can access these reports in the Quarterly Reports prepared by Evoenergy section.

The below graphs show trends in payments and costs for the large-scale feed-in tariff support scheme.

Energy Payments that are Paid are payments from ACT electricity consumers to generators via retailers, while payments shown as Payable are those returned to ACT electricity consumers by the generator via retailers.
